The Intimate Brahms
February 2 - 7:30PM - Cupola Building, Greenville
February 3 - 5:00PM - Saint Mary's School, Raleigh

Johannes Brahms kept a close circle of friends that were intensely important to him. Chief among these friendships were his musical and personal relationship with his mentor, Robert Schumann, and his intimate relationship with virtuoso pianist and composer Clara Schumann, Robert Schumann's wife. This CMDD event explores these interweaving relationships and the majestic music that each of these great artists created.
