New Concentration in Global Studies

FLL is pleased to announce the creation of a new "Global Studies" concentration under the BA in Foreign Languages and Literatures (in addition to the current French, German, Hispanic Studies and Teacher-Ed). Global Studies will allow students to combine courses from two languages and culture courses in translation.

Dr. Frédéric Fladenmuller– 30 years of service!

Dr. Frédéric Fladenmuller was recognized by Chancellor at a reception on April 12, 2017 to honor his 30 years of dedicated service to ECU. A Professor of French and Francophone Studies, Dr. Staton was named University Scholar this year, and has been honored by the French government as Chevalier (Knight) in the Fladenmuller des Ordre Palmes
